Medium 'Write On' Lithium Battery Labels

For businesses requiring a larger writable area, these Medium Write On Lithium Battery Labels measure 100mm x 75mm and provide a practical way to identify applicable lithium battery packages. The label features the lithium battery and flame symbol surrounded by a highly visible red diagonal striped border.

A dedicated blank section is provided beside “UN”, allowing the relevant UN number to be added when the package is prepared. Several “Contains:” write-on lines are also included, giving additional space for recording appropriate information about the contents.

The 100mm x 75mm size provides more writing and display space than the mini 35mm x 32mm version while remaining smaller than the standard 100mm x 100mm format. Under current IATA 2026 guidance, a lithium battery mark can be reduced to 100mm x 70mm minimum where the package is too small for the full-size mark, provided the design remains approximately proportional.

These writable lithium battery labels can therefore be useful for businesses handling different battery products and requiring a flexible label where the applicable UN number can be entered manually. Suitable applications include battery distribution, electronics, equipment manufacturing, packaging, warehousing and shipping, subject to the regulations applicable to the individual shipment.

PLEASE NOTE: The 100mm x 75mm format may be suitable for use as a reduced-size lithium battery mark where the package size requires a smaller mark and all applicable requirements are met.

Please check the current regulations applicable to your battery, packaging and method of transport before use. Where a package is large enough to accommodate the standard 100mm x 100mm mark, the full-size mark may be required.

How do I personalise the Label?

To add your print instructions to a personalised product, simply choose a colour (if applicable) and/or select a quantity. Then click 'Add Print Instructions', this will trigger the print instruction screen in which you can enter everything that you require us to print on to your labels.

Will I see how my Label will look before I order?

Our website will NOT show you a preview of how your label will look before you order. This is because our artwork team create your label from scratch using the information you provide with your order and manually adjust the layout to give the best finished design.

Do I get a Label Proof?

Proofs are not provided as default, this is to ensure that we are able to get orders processed on time and maintain our speed of service. If you would like to see a proof of your labels before we go to final print, this can be done upon request. Please ask for a proof in the 'Special Requests' box provided on the Print Instructions window. Requesting a proof may effect the lead time of your order.

What if I'm not 100% sure of something?

If you are not absolutely 100% certain of anything at all, please give us a quick call on 01325 525 675 before purchase. Our Sales Team can then help you make sure there are no oversights and communicate any specific requirements to the production team. We are here to help and make sure you get exactly what you want.

It is your responsibilty as a buyer, to inform us of all requirements in your print instructions, either before or at the time of order. No assumptions at all should be made.
